In addition to the traditional amusements, there's Dinosaur Isle, with lots of activities for children, also the Isle of Wight Zoo, which has one of the largest collections of tigers in Europe. There's a playpark with go-karting, slides and an outdoor gym.

Sandown Beach, Isle of WightIf it's a sandy beach you're looking for, Sandown is one of the best on the Isle of Wight. In one direction in Sandown Bay you can see the resort of Shanklin, in the other direction are the white cliffs below Culver Down. Close to the white cliffs is the beach at Yaverland, where there's a watersports centre, featuring sea-doos, sailing and different types of surfing.
