Island Trains
Island Trains operate a scheduled service serving towns on the East coast of the IW. It runs twice an hour, and takes about half an hour from Ryde to Shanklin, it meets up with the Wightlink Catamaran at Ryde Pier Head.. The train stops at the following Island towns:
- Ryde
- Brading
- Sandown
- Lake
- Shanklin
Isle of Wight Steam Railway
The Isle of Wight Steam Railway provides steam train rides through five miles of countryside between Smallwood Junction and Havenstreet. It connects up with the main Island Line trains at Smallwood Junction enabling you to leave the car at home and take the train. The Steam Railway offers many special events throughout the year.
